I have been studying food engineering at the University of Chile for two years. The carrer lasts for 11 semesters and each semester has 7 subjects, therefore, the academic load is quite. The subjects are related to each other, but even so they are different and you have to study and work extra. The subjects are very varied, I have subjects of physics, biology and oral and written communication, but in my career the most important subjects are those related to chemistry and mathematics. Unfortunately I haven't seen many subjects that relate to my career yet. The first year I had a subject called Introduction to Food Engineering, but I feel that it was not enough. I would like that it's to be more motivational and practical. My faculty has different buildings, but these buildings aren’t very functional.
