Changes to my study programme

I have been studying food engineering at the University of Chile for two years. The carrer lasts for 11 semesters and each semester has 7 subjects, therefore, the academic load is quite. The subjects are related to each other, but even so they are different and you have to study and work extra.  The subjects are very varied, I have subjects of physics, biology and oral and written communication, but in my career the most important subjects are those related to chemistry and mathematics. Unfortunately I haven't seen many subjects that relate to my career yet. The first year I had a subject called Introduction to Food Engineering, but I feel that it was not enough. I would like that it's to be more motivational and practical. My faculty has different buildings, but these buildings aren’t very functional. There are places to eat, but unfortunately not enough for everyone, I think it would be a good idea to have a casino and more microwave. The places to study are small, th

My opinion

What is your opinion about buying instead of adopting pets? In the world, especially in Chile, there are many abandoned animals in the streets. Everyday I see stray dogs and I feel very sad when I can not help them. I would love to have a very big house to adopt them all. Charlie is my dog and he adopts it when you are only one month old, I think we propose a way of the ways we have to help these animals, especially cats and dogs. Pets that you can buy the plane parts wait before you own an owner. There are breeding places where the animals of race, is very sad. Adopting we help these things don't happen! What is your opinion about Immigration? Immigration, like many things in life, has its advantages and disadvantages. Having foreigners living in our country is very enriching, because they teach us a new culture and economically it is favorable, since they pay their taxes and consume goods and services . On the other hand it is unfavorable for some foreigners who are

From cartoons, animes to TV series

Since I was little I love cartoons, I remember the first cartoons I saw: the teletubbies and Barney the dinosaur. As I got older I got to know classical anime like Marco and Heidi. Today I don't have much free time and I don't watch much tv like before, but when I can I see the cartoons that I like the most, one of those is Futurama. This is an animated American comedy that tells the adventures of Philip J. Fry, who was accidentally transported to the 31st century and who works in an interplanetary distribution company along with his friends Lila, Bender, Dr. Zoidberg, among others.                                                Although I like to watch animated series, I don't consider myself a fan, I am only an occasional observer of these funny stories, because I don't free time for watch it everyday.                                                                                                            When I think about manga or comics, I realize th

Post graduate studies

Last week, an ex-alumnus of the Food Engineering career made motivational talk to my classmates and to me, he gave us different advice and one of them was that it would a good idea that when we finish our degree we specialize in something that we like.  Since that day I think that I would like to continue studying, because of there are different types of post title, masters or doctorates related to the career or related fields related to the area of food engineering. In the future I would like to take the PhD program in nutrition and food, as I find it very interesting to know more about human and animal nutrition in agricultural processes and in the food industry. The only bad thing about this doctorate is that its duration is eight semesters, it is very long. On the other hand I am also very interested in the area of management, so I have researched a degree in marketing management for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and chemical science related industries. The
