Today is very important know different languages . In the workplace it is very positive to know how to speak English, because of it is one of the universal languages. I have been studying food engineering at the University of Chile for two years. The carrer lasts for 11 semesters and each semester has 7 subjects, therefore, the academic load is quite. The subjects are related to each other, but even so they are different and you have to study and work extra.  The subjects are very varied, I have subjects of physics, biology and oral and written communication, but in my career the most important subjects are those related to chemistry and mathematics. What is your opinion about buying instead of adopting pets? In the world, especially in Chile, there are many abandoned animals in the streets. Everyday I see stray dogs and I feel very sad when I can not help them. I would love to have a very big house to adopt them all. Since I was little I love cartoons, I remember the first cartoons I saw: the teletubbies and Barney the dinosaur. As I got older I got to know classical anime like Marco and Heidi. Today I don't have much free time and I don't watch much tv like before, but when I can I see the cartoons that I like the most, one of those is Futurama. Last week, an ex-alumnus of the Food Engineering career made motivational talk to my classmates and to me, he gave us different advice and one of them was that it would a good idea that when we finish our degree we specialize in something that we like.  Since that day I think that I would like to continue studying, because of there are different types of post title, masters or doctorates related to the career or related fields related to the area of food engineering. In the future I would like to take the PhD program in nutrition and food, as I find it very interesting to know more about human and animal nutrition in agricultural processes and in the food industry. The only bad thing about this doctorate is that its duration is eight semesters, it is very long. On the other hand I am also very interested in the area of ​​management, so I have researched a degree in marketing management for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and chemical science related industries....

When I think about what I would like to do in the future, many ideas come to my mind, although some ideas are a little crazy ones. I think the work I would like to have, for example, would be to become a manager of a business, of a supermarket or a bar & restaurant. I feel that owning something of your own is full of challenges and happiness due to the achievements, maybe is something difficult, but not impossible. I imagine that you must be great have your own business and offer people rich, healthy, natural and quality products. The topic that I choose today to write in my blog is because is very practical and important inform us about the packaging and the technology that composes them. I love animals!, I have always liked to observe them when they are sunbathing relaxed or when they run free and happy. One of my dreams is have a house with a big garden to have many dogs, of all sizes and types. Although I prefer big dogs, I would also like to have small pets such as ferrets and hedgehogs. I've only had one pet, it is a dog, that I adopted when it was only one month old of life. His name is Charlie, because he is just as crazy as Charlie Garcia or Charly Sheen ... Charlie is “kilterrier”, but he has the colors of a rottweiler. When i don’t call him by his name, I call him demon , because he sometimes looks like a very territorial dog and when a unknown person go to my house, Charlie growls very loud , but when he feels relax, he looks like an angel. Although sometimes charlie is very wild, I consider him as my brother. I never believed that have a pet would make me so happy, I love Charlie very much and I hope him will stay with me for many more years.

The summer holidays of this year I made my first travel without my parents.   I went with my boyfriend to the south of Chile and we traveled different and beautiful cities during two weeks. I was happy, so I had never gone south of Chile, because I and my parents always went to the beach “La Boca de Rapel”. Our first destination was Valdivia, I met the famous bridge, sea lions and a nearby beach called “Niebla”. One of the things that I liked the most was that I was able to go to the Kunstmann brewery, when I probed many varieties of beer. After I met the Osorno volcano and its crystal clear lake. Knowing different places is one of my favorite hobbies, meeting different cities of my country is a beautiful experience, you can meet diverse people and wonderful landscapes. Travel to another country should be even more captivating, because you know different and striking cultures completely, many times I fantasize about what I would do if I would travel to another country.       If I had the opportunity of travel, I would go to Greece, because it is a place with dreamed landscapes. Sometimes in my social networks I express my ideas and opinions on some topic or I speak about my feelings in a subtle way. When I talk to my friends and companions of the university i like to discuss different topics, talk about what we like, so that my mind doesn’t just think about things of the university.  During these 3 semesters that I have been in the university I have seen many subjects; theoretical,practical in the laboratory, there are subjects that have both options, for example Biology. I  have also had sports subjects, called "CFG". I don't have a favorite subject, but there are some that I like more than others.  Analytical chemistry is a theoretical subject of the third semester that I like. In this subject we see different topics, for example, chemical equilibrium, analysis of anions and cations, redox volumetry, among others. The music is very important to me, since I am very young I like to sing and dance, thanks to my parents, who have instilled in me their good musical taste. Unfortunately I have sometimes forgotten the peace or happiness that makes me feel the music, due to my studies, that dont give me much free time to do activities related to music.  When I can I go to the movies and pay a lot of attention to the songs of the movies. I also watch classic movies in my house, for example: Dirty dancing havana nights, The miserables and Pride and prejudice, these movies have very good songs. I like all the music, therefore I listen to all kinds of music, for example: the music that I listened to in my childhood, I listen to today yet.
